ANNP and Quality Improvement Lead Nurse, North West Neonatal Network
I have been a neonatal nurse for almost 19 years within a variety of roles such as; staff nurse, sister, educator, manager and most recently Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I currently work within the North West Neonatal Network as a lead nurse with a focus on governance and quality improvement.
I am an executive committee member of the Neonatal Nurses Association, a member of the BAPM quality collaborative, and recently enjoyed my role as neonatal nurse advisor to the national GIRFT Neonatology Program. I have also recently joined the Fi Care International Steering Committee as a nursing representative. I am keen to ensure the neonatal nursing voice is heard far and wide and am passionate about all things neonatal, particularly the impact of the neonatal journey/environment on both families and staff.
