Abstracts will be peer-reviewed and accepted for poster and/or oral presentation. Please read the REaSoN 2022 Abstract Guidelines carefully, before submitting your abstract. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered.

Fisher & Paykel Session

We are pleased to announce the continuation of the Fisher & Paykel Poster competition and would like to thank Fisher & Paykel for their continued support of this important educational feature of REaSoN.

Abstracts for this section should describe research, case series or case reports. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered. Case reports are unlikely to be accepted for oral presentation. 2 abstracts will be chosen for an oral presentation and 20 – 25 abstracts will be selected for the poster presentation.

Prizes: £1,000 for the Oral Presentation Winner and £500 for the Poster Presentation Winner.

Quality Improvement Session

Following the continued success of the Quality Improvement Session, we have decided to include this once again, and we would like to extend our thanks to Dr Julie-Clare Becher, who has kindly developed this session.

Abstracts for this section should describe quality improvement activity or clinical effectiveness research. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered. Traditional audits are unlikely to be accepted for oral presentation and will require to be of sufficient quality to be accepted for poster presentation. 2 abstracts will be chosen for an oral presentation and 10 – 15 abstracts will be selected for the poster presentation.

Prizes: £400 for the Oral Presentation Winner and £100 for the Poster Presentation Winner.

Service Development by a Nurse or nursing team Session

We would like to thank Dr Julie-Clare Becher and Mrs Roisin McKeon-Carter for their work on developing the new ‘Service Development by a Nurse or Nursing Team’ abstract session which is aimed at nurses and nursing Teams.

Abstracts for this section should describe aspects of service development or care practices which have been led by a nurse or nursing team. Examples include bereavement care pathways; development of a home phototherapy pathway; introduction of developmental care or family integrated care.

Accepted abstracts will be presented by poster. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered.

Prizes: £100 for the Poster Presentation Winner.
