Dr Julia Petty is Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in Children’s Nursing at Hertfordshire University. Prior to this post, she co-led the neonatal post-qualification nursing curriculum at City University, London and now she leads several nursing modules for the BSc/MSc Honours programme across all nursing fields including a recently validated neonatal care module for pre-registration children’s nursing students. She is an active researcher in children’s / neonatal care and her publications include book editorship, chapters and peer-reviewed papers. She sits on the Executive Boards of the UK Neonatal Nurses Association (NNA) and the Council of International Neonatal Nurses (COINN).
