Currently working as a Consultant Neonatologist at East Kent Hospitals NHS University Foundation Trust, Dr Chalmers leads the Neonatal Palliative Care and Bereavement Teams and runs a very successful Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Follow Up Service alongside a Specialist Neonatal Physiotherapist. She has written two publications and is also co-director of the NeoSAVE programme, which has been successfully rolled out nationally and internationally to try to improve stabilisation training for healthcare professionals worldwide.
