Abstracts will be peer-reviewed and accepted for poster and/or oral presentation. Please read the REaSoN Neonatal Meeting 2024 Abstract Guidelines carefully, before selecting a stream and submitting your abstract. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered.

Abstract Deadline: Midnight, Monday 22nd April 2024
Successful Abstracts will be notified on the week commencing Monday 6th May 2024

Please note: Oral presentations and Poster presentations are expected to be presented in-person.
If you are unable to attend in-person, your presentation will not be entered into the competition.

Original Research Poster and Oral Presentation Session

Abstracts for this section should describe research, case series or case reports. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered. Case reports are unlikely to be accepted for oral presentation.

2 abstracts will be chosen for an oral presentation and up to 10 abstracts will be selected for the poster presentation.

Prizes: One complimentary registration for the REaSoN Neonatal Meeting 2025 for the Lead Oral Presentation Winner and Lead Poster Presentation Winner

Quality Improvement Poster & Oral Presentation Session

Abstracts for this section should describe quality improvement activity or clinical effectiveness research. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered. Traditional audits are unlikely to be accepted for oral presentation and will require to be of sufficient quality to be accepted for poster presentation.

2 abstracts will be chosen for an oral presentation and up to 10 abstracts will be selected for the poster presentation.

Prizes: One complimentary registration for the REaSoN Neonatal Meeting 2025 for the Lead Oral Presentation Winner and Lead Poster Presentation Winner

Service Development by a Nurse or nursing team Poster Session

Abstracts for this section should describe aspects of service development or care practices which have been led by a nurse or nursing team. Examples include bereavement care pathways; development of a home phototherapy pathway; introduction of developmental care or family integrated care.

Accepted abstracts will be presented by poster. Abstracts which do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered. Up to 10 abstracts will be selected for the poster presentation.
