I am a consultant neonatologist at the Liverpool Womens Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I have spent my consultant life committed to improving the provision of perinatal palliative, end of life and bereavement care and have no intention of stopping until we get there and beyond! I have implemented a North West strategy for improvement in this area, was the consultant neonatologist for the recent NICE end of life care for infants, children and young and am one of the authors on the 2016 APPM formulary.
